Board League

Team up and join us for our first climbing league! Once registered, all teams will receive an email containing league details, instructions, rules, and hype! For now, here is some of what you need to know...

⚫ This league is for ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS! It doesn't matter if you climb yellows or blacks...it's an equal playing field! Every individual will receive a handicap (score adjuster) based on their climbing ability - allowing ANYONE to take home prizes. This league is about progression over the course of 4 weeks rather than just "sending the gnar".

⚫ Teams of 2-4 people are required. So, invite some friends!

⚫ Week 1 (August 31-Sept 6) will be the "calibration" week. Climb the entirety of one circuit (in however many tries it takes, but you have to send every boulder), fill out a COLOR Circuit Card, and turn it into the front desk. This will help us determine your handicap. You can also join us for one of our Board Clinics on Sept 2 or 4 at 6:30pm or Sept 6 at Noon to get introduced to using the board, the phone app, and learn about some strategies to help you climb well and progress.

⚫ Weeks 2-5 (Sept 7-Oct 5) will be the climbing weeks. Log as many "classic" Tension Board climbs as you can during those weeks to receive points for you and your team.

⚫ After each handicap is applied, a V0 will be worth the same amount as a V10! This means EVERYONE has a chance and winning is about making progress on harder climbs throughout the weeks!

⚫ Shift will host an afterparty and hand out awards at a TBD location one evening the week of October 6th!

⚫ Registration is $10 per person
