Early birds, we built this for you.
Our doors open at 6:00 AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we're the only climbing gym in the Holland area that opens early. From the day we opened, the ask kept coming from the community: before-work climbers who wanted to train and still make the morning meeting, parents who wanted the wall before the day took over, and second- and third-shift workers whose evening is everyone else's morning.
So we built the schedule around it. A 6 AM session means fresh climbs, quiet walls, and a full day still ahead of you when you're done. If you've been waiting for a gym that starts when you do, this is it.
Two easy ways to Shift.
We are at 12345 James Street, behind Burlington on Holland's north side, with a big parking lot. Choose the way in that matches where you are coming from.
Coming from Felch St.
Follow Felch St to Westshore Mall, head south on Westshore Mall, then turn east into the Westshore Mall lot. Shift is behind Burlington.
Coming from James St.
Follow James St to Westshore Mall, turn north on Westshore Mall, and follow it around to the north end of the mall. Shift is behind Burlington.
How long it takes to reach us
Parking: we have a big parking lot, so you can pull in and walk right up. Find us at James Street and US-31 on Holland's north side, behind Burlington. Drive times are approximate.
