Vinyl Nights: the lights get lower, the music gets louder.
Chill, listen to music, maybe hear some new songs, and climb.
Chase and Zac have always loved records because they take focus and intention. Vinyl Night brings that into the gym, a space that feels intentional, human, and approachable. It is a deliberate step away from the algorithm and toward something real.
Got records at home? Any climber or audiophile is welcome to bring their own, and we will add them to the mix for the night.
How the night unfolds.
The music pauses. Rubber on mats and the slap of wooden volumes fill the room. Then the needle drops, the lights fall, and Shift becomes a place for bouldering, belonging, and a shared love of music and climbing.
Records spin, you climb. Each Vinyl Night has its own theme, and requests for upcoming nights are welcome. Hit us up.
The final record wraps up, and the gym returns to its regular state.

Never-before-done themes.
Bob Dylan, Bob Weir and the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley and the Wailers. Anyone got any Seger?
The Boss and the E Street Band woven together with A Tribe Called Quest.
Jam band psychedelia meets OG British rock.
A room that listens.
Records on the turntable, headphones on, and a room full of people who came for the music. Watch a Vinyl Night at Shift.
A pretty chill place.
"They do this super sick night where they curate a playlist of vinyls and it's such a vibe in there. My friends and I go pretty much every week. They also let us bring in our own vinyls and get them in the playlist, which is so fun. We've all made new friends too, bonding over our love of vinyl and music. I love that Shift does sweet events like this."
Brayden R."A real treat with a group of friends. None of us are climbers but we were all challenged, helped, had space to socialize and went home with lots of smiles."
AJ W."The people at the front desk are always so kind and welcoming. The whole gym just has a very welcoming ambiance."
