Isaac Bytwerk

Isaac discovered climbing 5 years ago as an alternative to traditional weight lifting. A friend invited him to a bouldering session, and he was immediately hooked. Like many who begin their climbing journey, Isaac quickly fell in love with the movement and challenge that uniquely comes with indoor bouldering.While climbing can feel like a deeply personal journey, Isaac's passion for cultivating an environment where others can succeed is what drives him. Whether building community through our Circuit Labs, leading our Shift Sessions, or slowing things down with our Intro to Shift, Isaac finds every opportunity to meet people where they are and share his love for bouldering.

In climbing, we often have to redefine what success looks like. The small victories we celebrate along the way are what keep us growing, and Isaac takes pride in guiding climbers through that journey.Before Shift, Isaac spent nearly a decade in the banking industry. When he's not climbing, you'll catch him downhill skiing, watching a game, or playing bass for Engedi Church.
